American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor Museum


           
 

- Museum will be the only repository dedicated solely and exclusively to the American Defenders
   of Bataan and Corregidor

- To be constructed in Brooke County, West Virginia

- Funding to be sought from private and public funds grants and sources

- Will feature donated memorabilia to be reverently catalogued, professionally archived, digitized
  and available on the internet

- Will be self-supporting and nonprofit and a Division of the Brooke County Public library

- Will generate additional supporting businesses and tourism

- Ideally located close to Pittsburgh International Airport and 5 Interstate Highways
 

Members of the American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor have formally endorsed the ADBC Museum as their official repository and have been fully supportive and encouraging of the efforts and development of the POW collection.

Past National Commanders and other top leaders of that revered and worthy organization have taken part in the activities and are regular contributors of their own precious materials and remembrances. In addition, the surviving POWs are represented on the Steering Committee which governs the ADBC Museum policies and procedures.
